meeting for implementation of RSVY works.

K.A. (Near Kulai H.S. School to Gantacherra under Ambassa Block (Span

Launching of
bridge is complete. Approach to the bridge will be completed by 30th
October, 2005. |

Construction of
24-R loading portable steel bailey bridge over Sarma River at Bankarghat on
the road from Gancacherra to Dhalajari under Dumburnagar Block (Span
150’-0”). |
Launching of
bridge will be completed after Durga Puja. Work will be complete in all
respect by first week of November, 2005. |

road from Noagaon to Birjabari (length-4.50 KM) including 24-R loading
portable steel bailey bridge (Span 150’-0”) over Birjabari cherra under

Construction of
bridge is complete. Cross drainage works under progress. Brick soling works
to commence after Durga Puja. Targeted date of completion: June, 2005. |

nos. 24-R loading portable steel bailey bridge on the road from Vulangbassa
to Dalapati para under Dumburnagar Block (Span 1x100’-00” and 1x 80’-0”). |
Both the bridges
are complete. |

Construction of 3
nos. 24-R loading portable steel bailey bridge from Lalcherra to Chiching
cherra under Manu Block (Span 1 x 100’-0” and 2 x 80’-0”) ( 1 No. RCC slab
culvert). |
Erection of 3 bridges
is complete. Construction of slab culvert has been taken up under State plan.
Targeted date of completion of works: December, 2005. |

Construction of 3
nos. 24-R loading portable steel bailey bridge on the road from Nanikpur to
Madhu Kumar under Chawmanu Block (Span 1 x 100’-0” and 2 x 80’-0”). |
Work of 1(one) no.
bailey bridge is under progress. Due to increase in span of bridge, the work
is held for want of required material as per revised span. The work of
remaining 2(two) nos. bailey bridges is also held up. Targeted date: March,
2006. |
B. Construction of motor stand :-
As
per the initial estimate, provision was kept amount to Rs.201 lakhs out of
which Rs.100 lacs has been released under first phase. Subsequently, the scope
of works has been changed and estimate stands revised at Rs.336 lakhs. The
balance amount has been kept in phase-II of the budget. Construction work of
boundary wall has commenced, tender for terminal building lay bays has been
finalized and submitted for approval of SAB. The entire construction work has
been split in 3(three) parts, part-I will cover terminal building and lay bays.
Part-II & III, will cover remaining components of the project.
For
submitting progress report to the State Government, Executive Engineer, PW Department
was requested to furnish information on the following points :-
a. Details
of components kept under each phase.
b. Estimated
cost of various components in each
phase.
c. Time
schedule for implementation of various phases.
C. Construction of Town Hall :-
So
far, no decision has been taken regarding finalisation of Implementing Agency for construction of Town
Hall at Ambassa. Considering the quantum of work and technical expertise
required in executing the said work, it was decided that request may be sent to
PW Department for preparation of estimate and execution of works after
placement of fund.
D. Construction
of night shelter at Manu :-
After
detailed discussion it was decided that PW Department will be requested for
preparation of estimate and execution of work.
Review of
achievements under Phase-I.
a.
Intensive electrification in the
electrified hamlets.
Against the total
Project cost of Rs.76.38 Lakhs, amount earmarked in first phase stands at
Rs.39.86 Lakhs. Total expenditure so far is Rs.37.81 lakhs. Achievement under
various targeted parameters is shown below:-

Under
the above component, 15 habitations have been covered. Information on total nos
of houses electrified is to be furnished by Dy GM, Ambassa.
b.
Electrification of un-electrified
hamlets using PCC poles.
Against
the total Project cost of Rs.106.41 Lakhs, amount earmarked in first phase stands
at Rs.53.205 Lakhs. Total expenditure so far is Rs.40.23 lakhs. Achievement
under various targeted parameters is shown below:-

Work
could not be taken up at six places. Dy. GM, TSEC may send detailed
reasons for the same.
c.
Electrification of unelectrified
hamlets using steel tubular poles.
Against
the total Project cost of Rs.41.89 Lakhs, amount earmarked in first phase
stands at Rs.20.94 Lakhs. Total expenditure so far is Rs.2.0 lakhs. As steel
tubular poles were not readily available in the departmental supply, achievemnt
under this head is significantly lower.

So
far, materials have been procured for covering Sardar Roaja Para and Anand
Roaja Para.
Out
of total 11 habitations, three habitations could not be taken up, these are:-
1. Kumar
Sing, Dumburnagar Block:- The families have shifted.
2. Mithunjoy
Para, Dumburnagar , Block- Only, 4 to 5 families are staying in this para.
3. Bijoy
Master Para, Chamanu Block:- For covering this para, total 7 Km- 11 KVA line
would be required. The extension is not cost effective.
d.
Construction of 63 KVA distribution
Sub-Station.
Against
the total Project cost of Rs.21.78 Lakhs, amount earmarked in first phase
stands at Rs.10.89 Lakhs. Total expenditure so far is Rs.22.03 lakhs.

As there
is a mismatch and variation between the target assigned against each parameter
and the total achievement so far, Dy. GM, TSECL was requested to give reasons
justifying variation in achievements vis-a-vis targets. This information is required for
submitting report to Planning Department.
